City of Collegedale

Overview

The City of Collegedale's Public Works Department maintains public infrastructure, including street maintenance, fleet maintenance, recycling program, sanitation and sewer services; along with applying for grants and other state programs to provide the best level of service at the lowest cost.

Division Responsibilities

This department includes Solid Waste Services, which provides municipal trash collection, bulk collection, and residential curbside brush pick up. Vehicle and Fleet Maintenance which includes acquiring, maintaining, and repairing the City's fleet of vehicles. Public Works also provides project coordination for the City's capital construction projects, and City events like the annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration.
